Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – Flinders Medical Centre – Rheumatology Salary $57,842 - $62,221 ASO2 | Full Time – Ongoing We are looking for an Administrative Officer to join our Rheumatology team with Flinders Medical Centre The Rheumatology Unit at Flinders Medical Centre (FMC) offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. The unit plays an active role in teaching, clinical and scientific research, through Flinders University. About the Role: Reporting to the Head of Unit - Rheumatology, you will be responsible for providing and coordinating quality focused, timely and confidential administrative support to contribute to the efficiency of the unit's administrative functions. You will be required to work independently under general direction providing office coordination as well as some secretarial support to the Rheumatology Head of Unit. In this role, some of your responsibilities may include: Satisfying customer inquiries and resolving issues within SA Health guidelines in a timely, accurate and concise manner. Liaising with a wide cross section of disciplines both internally and externally. Providing quality and accurate administrative support services including work processing, data entry, photocopying, project work, preparation of correspondence, general filing, scheduling an preparing for meetings and minute taking as required. Helping co-ordinate the clinical service delivery of the department as directed including team rostering, over-seeing outpatient clinics, billing, and preparing reports. About you: Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing. Experience in providing a confidential clerical and administrative support service. Typing speed of 50 WPM with an accuracy of 98%. Research skills appropriate to the collection of information for reports and projects. Ability to use precedents, guidelines and procedures to proactively plan and prioritise work activities to meet competing demands.
