Located in Altona North ASAP Start Day, afternoon and night shifts available As an Excavator Driver specializing in the operation of rock grabber attachments, you will play a crucial role in our excavation projects. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently operate an excavator with a rock grabber attachment to handle, move, and break up plastic pallets. You will work closely with site supervisors and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: - Operate excavators equipped with rock grabber attachments to lift, move, and break up pallets - Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the excavator and rock grabber attachment to ensure optimal performance and safety. - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. - Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines. - Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the site supervisor promptly. Qualifications: - Valid excavator operator certification or license. - Minimum of 1 year experience operating excavators, preferably with rock grabber attachments. - Strong understanding of excavation and construction site safety practices. - Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions. - Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to delivering high-quality work.
