See more at our website - www.atsichsbrisbane.org.au Job Description About the role The Transport driver will ensure adequate transport schedules are delivered to increase efficiency across the service. In addition, this position will contribute to continual improvement projects with regards to patient safety, patient wait time, staff downtime and vehicle maintenance. During transport advocate and advertise on behalf of ATSICHS informing passengers of items such as: clinic locations, hours, services provided and upcoming community and clinic events. Support fellow staff in a team environment to build collegiality and a sense of belongingness within the team and ATSICHS family. Staff will actively participate in team activities and contribute to a flourishing workplace culture that promotes the ethos and values of ATSICHS Brisbane as a long-standing Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation. Duties Ensure the effective, safe and most efficient transport of passengers. Work with Manager on strategies to address challenges in transports outside catchment areas. In collaboration with Reception, ensure passengers are aware of possible wait/transport times. Ensure all passengers are treated with the upmost respect at all times. Provide information to family, friends and community members with regards to ATSICHS, and the services it provides. Culture We are a diverse, ambitious team excited about what we do. COVID - 19 Requirements Immunisation history showing you have received two doses of a Covid 19 vaccine is encouraged. Desired Skills and Experience Required Current Driver's License. Previous experience of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients. Previous experience as a Transport Driver. Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain.
