Company Description Based in office space at Mercure Perth, this role is responsible for Business Development, Sales and Revenue across 3 locations stretching from the awesome Mid-West to the iconic Kimberley region in Western Australia and across to the Gulf Country region in Queensland. The ibis Styles Hotels in Karratha, Geraldton and Mount Isa offer the successful candidate an opportunity to see the State and make a difference. This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager who has a strong revenue focussed background. You will be responsible for maintaining existing customer accounts whilst establishing new business and implementing strategies to maximise revenue across a variety of markets. Key Responsibilities: Revenue Maximization: Analyze statistics, identify trends, and develop strategies to meet revenue targets. Implement best practices in revenue and yield management. Business Development: Manage top corporate, wholesale, and inbound accounts. Develop new business from non-national accounts and ensure optimal presentation across all distribution channels. Reporting & Analysis: Conduct regular business analyses, prepare forecasts, and track performance against budget and forecasts. Provide statistical support and develop standard and ad hoc reports. Selling & Merchandising: Manage channel availability and rates, ensure parity across distribution channels, and support reservations and events through effective up-selling and negotiating techniques. Qualifications A proven capability in achieving sales results and KPI's Experience in preparing and following-up on tender submissions Ability to prospect and identify opportunities especially within the Resources sector Analysis of results (EOM reporting etc.), business plan preparation and short and long-term forecasting Exceptional communications skills reaching out to Industry networks, peers and TMC's The implementation of revenue management (RM) strategies Analysing market trends and implements RM strategies Monitoring the market to assess effectiveness of rate strategies Managing hotels presence on GDS, third party websites and media streams Producing various forecasts and reports on multiple revenue outlets Building a culture with employee group to capture revenue opportunities Strong organisational skills and an ability to prioritise competing deadlines Willingness to travel to the Hotels as required Additional Information Why work for Accor?
