The team is responsible for the processing and compliance of financial assistance applications in line with the Victims of Crime Assistance Act 2009. Your key responsibilities Provide support to the Operational Improvement Unit Manager and Business Systems team, including providing statistical data for high level reporting. Contribute to a high performing team, displaying motivation, collaborating with others, and sharing and encouraging innovative ideas. Deliver quality client-focused services to clients, stakeholders and the community through the application of Victim Assist's resources, policies, processes, systems and technologies. Lead a team of staff who provide administrative support to Victim Assist. Train staff to perform administrative duties such as using the client management system and other information systems; maintain template correspondence and confidentiality of client records and produce reports from Victim Assist's information systems. Understands and provides advice on complex operational policy and legislative issues relating to the provision of assistance and the administration of the Victims of Crime Assistance Act 2009. Regularly reviews and updates the relevant administrative policy and procedure manuals. Supports the team to maintain their well-being though promoting awareness of vicarious trauma, ensuring staff are appropriately trained and ensuing adequate debriefing opportunities.
