Working casually, on site at Grange, the Administration Support Assistant provides a wide variety of administrative support to the CE and SAASL team. About the South Australian Amateur Soccer League (SAASL): The South Australian Soccer League (SAASL) is the governing body of amateur soccer in South Australia promoting and developing the amateur game throughout the State. SAASL was established in 1965 and is a not-for-profit organisation focused on providing a well-managed, cost-effective competition to our community based and volunteer supported clubs across South Australia. What we offer: The opportunity to support a community-based organisation A passionate and close-knit team environment Internal mentoring and development Role overview: The Administration Support Assistant reports to the Administration Manager and provides a wide variety of administrative support to the Chief Executive and SAASL team. Working casually, approximately 15-25 hours per week, you will be based at the head office in Grange. Main responsibilities: Providing administrative assistance to Chief Executive and Administration Manager Processing club affiliation and registration applications Assisting with all preseason administrative tasks Data entry Assisting with checking and follow-up match day data Monitor relevant email inboxes and forward for follow up Assist with liaising with clubs and players via phone and email Relieve the position of Administration Manager when required (holidays, extended sick leave etc.) Assist with managing the SAASL Website and social media posts Assist with processing reports Liaise with clubs for information / documentation required Assist with organising SAASL events including Cup Finals, Awards Nights, and other events, as required What you will bring: Previous comparable experience in sports administration and/or not for profit organisations (preferable) Proven ability to liaise with and foster cooperation with a diverse group of people passionate about community sport High attention to detail and ability to work positively under pressure and with changing work priorities Hold or willing to apply for a current “Working with Children” check Excellent IT skills, with experience using MS Office and MYOB, and the ability to learn inhouse systems (Dribl & PlayFootball) High level administrative and interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team Excellent organisational and time management skills Passion and dedication in the promotion of SAASL and Clubs to the wider community To Apply: Click apply now and upload a current resume addressing the criteria noted above.
