DIRECTORATE: Business, Growth & Community CLASSIFICATION: Grade 9 SALARY: $66,194 to $72,813 pa 11% employer contribution to superannuation Plus 5% Trade allowance in addition to your Annual Salary REPORTING TO: Service Coordinator Banjora Children's Centre EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent Full Time THE POSITION: To ensure that the AlburyCity's Early Years Education and Care Centre operates in an efficient and effective manner, whilst providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment for all children attending Banjora. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement programs which meet the developmental, cultural and individual needs of all children attending the Centre. Be actively involved with children as individuals and as a group, assisting them to cope with daily routines and to develop their basic skills. Complete children's required education and care documentation and record attendance details of children. Uphold the regulations as determined by the relevant State and Federal Departments. Be involved with the National Quality Standard (NQS) process Report on all maintenance and equipment needs and replacements. Follow housekeeping practices which ensures that equipment is maintained at an optimal level. Be responsible for cleaning in relation to the group. Ensure that all staff are informed of hygiene, health and safety practices and standards, and monitor the implementation of such standards in the day to day care of the children. Perform other tasks or duties as directed by the Supervisor which are within the limits of the employee's skill, competence and training. Observe requirements of the WHS Legislation, relevant to the job and adhere to AlburyCity Policies and Procedures regarding WHS. Observe appropriate AlburyCity Policies and Procedures regarding day to day operations including Equal Employment Opportunity policies, AlburyCity's Dress Code and Standards Policy and AlburyCity's Code of Conduct.
