We are seeking a qualified and experienced Teacher of Aboriginal Studies to join our school community. The successful applicant must create an inclusive environment and implement teaching and learning strategies to aid students. This role is temporary full time (1.0 FTE) commencing Term 4 2024. The Role You will have knowledge of the syllabus requirements and ability to meet the aims, objectives and outcomes of the curriculum. Create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students through varied teaching strategies and pedagogical practices. All staff members at Loreto Normanhurst must participate in the Loreto Normanhurst Student Growth Model, which may mean being part of an Integrated Learning Team. A commitment to pastoral care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing of young women. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Hold relevant education qualifications, including a current NESA Accreditation. Ability to teach another subject desirable – please outline in your Cover Letter. Be confident in differentiating the curriculum in the classroom and committed to improving educational outcomes. A genuine passion for and the ability to ignite a love of your subject in students across various stages. Ability to use ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement.
