About the Role & Team We have Staff Engineer opportunities in our Wholesale Technology Group in our Finance and Risk and Trade Lifecycle Management teams. 1 x Full-time permanent role 1 x 12-month fixed term role As a Staff Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and work closely with your immediate team of developers and solution architect to form and define solutions. You will be responsible for the application architecture, analysis, design, coding, testing and supporting of software solutions while contributing to continuous integration and deployment activities. What you'll be doing Design, develop, and test software components across various domains and technologies Translate product owner requirements into functional customer solutions Implement and maintain production support capabilities like logging and monitoring Design and develop components to support architectural integration patterns using best practice and design principles Develop high-quality automated unit tests, integration tests and UI/API Mentor junior developers and champion process improvement Our Technology Stack Azure API Management as our gateway Azure DevOps (VSTS) for CI/CD orchestration Azure cloud native development Backend: C#, ASP .Net, MVC, Web API, SQL Server and XUnit Frontend: Angular for SPA, with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and Typescript. Terraform for infrastructure provisioning About You Technical expertise in C#, .Net, Complex SQL queries & Stored Procedures and relevant experience with any cloud technology stack Extensive industry experience and demonstrated experience as a Technical Lead/Staff Engineer Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical and non-technical aspects Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies We'd love to see your application, submitted by Sunday, 4 August 2024.
