Job Title: Solution Designer - Identity & Access Management (IAM) Duration: 6 Months extensions Based in Carlton, Victoria Job Summary: The identity & access management project is seeking an experienced and dynamic Solution Designer. The successful candidate will work closely with Enterprise Architects, and the Platform and Application teams to build and deliver IAM capabilities, utilizing current tools or assessing and implementing new tools as required to meet clients' identity needs. The Solution Designer will translate architectural designs into component-level solutions and detailed designs for final builds. As a subject matter expert in IAM, the candidate will ensure high-level solutions align with Enterprise Architecture's target state, support testing phases, and transition solutions to the operational teams. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design and Implementation : Collaborate with IAM Architect to design, develop and deliver IAM capabilities as per the IAM strategy, business requirements and security standards. This includes designing authentication, authorization, and user provisioning processes. Detailed conversations with Platform and Application teams to align solutions and designs. Conduct assessments and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for new IAM capabilities. Translate architectural designs into component-level solution designs. Develop detailed solution designs for final builds as required. Integrate IAM solutions with existing systems, applications, and infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility. Hands-on Implementation: Configure and implement IAM tools and solutions, including but not limited to IGA. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including security, IT operations, and application development, to implement IAM solutions effectively. Ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and align with best practices. Mandatory Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Extensive experience in Identity Access Management, including hands-on implementation and configuration of IAM tools. Proven experience working closely with Enterprise Architects. Strong understanding of IAM domains such as Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM). Ability to translate architectural designs into detailed solution designs. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in IAM. Highly Desirable Skills Experience with implementing modern IGA platforms eg. Saviynt, Sailpoint. Relevant certifications in IAM or related technologies. Experience in the higher education sector.
