Your New Role: You'll be essential in preparing timely and accurate financial records, focusing on end-to-end payroll processing, while also supporting AP, AR, and general accounting tasks when required You will join an incredibly collaborative and down-to-earth team who thrive on precision, teamwork, and a positive work environment, with your office based in the Hills District of Sydney. Responsibilities: Execute end-to-end payroll processing, including analysis and reconciliation. Prepare monthly payroll tax reconciliations and file returns with relevant authorities. Maintain and administer payroll master data in the workforce management system. Support the Senior Financial Accountant in ensuring the completeness and accuracy of financial data and postings. Manage vendor master data creation. Perform daily banking postings and reconciliations. Oversee and support AP functions. Prepare key general ledger reconciliations on a monthly basis. Provide support for financial postings to the BPC system for Australia and NZ. The Experience Checklist: Proven experience with end-to-end payroll processing and relevant award interpretation, in the retail sector. Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Storeforce, Power BI, Employment Hero, and Microsoft Dynamics or similar. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask with a keen eye for accuracy. Knowledge of Australian Superannuation regulations. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. What's Next?
