Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful execution of metal fabrication, steel erection, and pipework projects within our engineering company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities: Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets. Utilize project management tools and techniques to ensure effective scheduling and coordination of activities. Contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project requirements and company standards. Manage change orders and variations throughout the project lifecycle. Cost Control and Budgeting: Monitor project expenditures and track costs against the budget. Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and safety standards. Quality Assurance and Safety: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets or exceeds project specifications. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies and industry best practices. Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of managers, engineers, technicians from client companies, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative and productive working environment, encouraging teamwork and problem-solving. Client and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies. Provide regular project updates and reports, ensuring transparency and effective communication. Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts. Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction project management, or a related field. Experience: 2 years of proven experience in construction project management, with a focus on metal fabrication, steel erection, and pipework projects. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Remuneration: $100,000 $120,000, depending on experience and skill set.
