Our client is a national well known transport and logistics company that has been operating for over 50 years in Australia. They are looking for an individual who is a reliable team player, with the ability to perform physical tasks in the warehouse. You must be a licenced forklift operator who has attention to detail and is able to work under pressure to meet picking and packing deadlines. Location: Wacol Shift: Monday to Friday 7am-3pm Pay Rate: $38.75 per hour Duties include: Forklift operation including loading and unloading freight, sorting materials on racks; Preparing freight for transport; Processing food-grade products and dangerous chemicals Outbound: - picking/packing orders, quality checks/Inbound: receiving stock, replenishments and the like; Stock control, processing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records; General warehouse maintenance and adhoc duties, including housekeeping/ cleaning tasks. What we are looking for. A current LF forklift licence A minimum 2 years experience with a counterbalance forklift and picking packing or similar role with warehouse system scanning experience - must be efficient and able to achieve set KPI goals Ability to adhere to a number of targets throughout the day and multitask to assist the team in meeting daily performance requirements. Be able to follow strict processes and instructions to ensure things are being done correctly to company standard and meeting quality procedures.
