About the role Our busy Maintenance Department at Caval Ridge Mine located 20kms from Moranbah in Central QLD is currently searching for an experienced Warehouse Officer. As our next Warehouse Officer you will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality solutions and results. Working a 7/7 even lifestyle roster on day shift only, your main responsibilities will include: Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships, both internally and externally, through positive and effective communication Manage, influence, and empower the Warehouse team to provide a safe and effective warehouse operation Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service to internal and external stakeholders Allocation and distribution of warehouse tasks and responsibilities to the warehouse team Provide day-to-day direction to the team to ensure delivery against plan, ensuring service levels are in accordance with Operational needs and expectations Management of cycle count program to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained Routine management of Rotable and Repairable materials to ensure optimal critical stock availability Management of all inbound and outbound freight requirements (General, Emergency and Heavy Haulage) Timely management of warehouse workflow, ensuring timely payment of invoices in accordance with payment terms Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service to internal stakeholders. Maintain the stores efficiently and ensure the Inventory is optimised, so that parts and equipment for mobile fleet and fixed plant are available in order to meet organisational and maintenance targets. Perform general administration duties as required to ensure daily performance targets are achieved. Ensure efficient operation of the warehouse by coordinating deliveries with carriers and adhering to schedules and deadlines Management of stores inventory and coordination of periodic stock takes General housekeeping of warehouse and laydown area Requirements We are seeking an individual with strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish effective working relationships with key internal and external clients. You will demonstrate the ability to deliver on production and maintenance targets in a challenging, fast paced and professional environment.
