We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and safety-focused Warehouse Supervisor to join the afternoon shift team at Fuchs Lubricants' Sunshine facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse, overseeing all activities from receiving and put away to picking and dispatch. Your areas of responsibility: Safety First: You will be a champion for safety, actively promoting safe work practices and leading by example. This includes conducting regular safety checks, reporting hazards, and participating in safety initiatives. Warehouse Operations: You will supervise the afternoon shift warehouse crew, ensuring efficient receiving, put away, picking, and dispatch of products. This includes adherence to proper storage procedures, particularly for dangerous goods. Inventory Management: You will contribute to maintaining accurate inventory levels by conducting cycle counts, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely data entry into the warehouse management system, SAP. Logistics Coordination: You will collaborate with the Production and Planning teams to schedule inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring smooth flow of materials and finished goods. Teamwork & Leadership: You will provide clear instructions and support to your team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Continuous Improvement: You will be open to and participate in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the warehouse. Qualifications we are looking for: Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a warehouse supervisor in an SAP environment. Possess a strong understanding of safe work practices and WH&S regulations. Are proficient in warehouse operations, including receiving, put away, picking, and dispatch. Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Are a team player with a focus on achieving results. Are a problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
