Position Information Karabar High School is a partially Selective High school on Ngambri and Ngunnawal lands in Queanbeyan, in the border region of NSW and the ACT. The school has a current enrolment of 886 students in years 7-12, including 12% Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and 16% English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D). Selection Criteria Approval to teach PD/Health/PE and Sport, Lifestyle and Recreation/Physical Activity and Sports Studies. Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to build positive relationships with teachers, students, parents and the community. Capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies and to plan and implement differentiated teaching and learning programs to maximise student growth and promote high expectations for all students. Conditions A relocation support package of $5,000 up to $8,000 will be available for eligible applicants. An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
