You will be instrumental in ensuring we have the best quality and fit of products in our requalification process. In this role you will play a key support to the team, assisting them with technical specifications and managing the fit of products to ensure a consistent approach is developed and maintained. The team are constantly looking to take our brands and styles to the next level, and in ensuring we have the best fit of products: this represents a fantastic junior-level opportunity to get first-hand experience from the team and grow your career within the garment technician space. What will I be doing? Proactively organize & manage workflow that adheres to project milestones & development timelines Manage requalification projects from initial briefing stage through prototyping, development, and sign off for production Utilize technical garment construction skills and experience to provide suggestions during prototype development, fit sessions, the materials selection process and testing review Resolves minor quality/fit issues through collaboration without guidance, and proposes solutions for more complex issues at time of escalation Conduct wear testing for consumer validation Communicate with internal and external stakeholders such as Design, Brands, Supply, Merchandising and overseas supply partners for current and future development projects Create and manage technical specifications to ensure documentation is accurate What experience do I have? Some level of work experience in a Garment Tech/shape development role within the industry Strong administrative and data entry/admin skills Strong PC skills: MS Office suite and a working knowledge of Illustrator Confident communicator, intuitive and a good listener Flexible, open to change and able to juggle tasks and prioritise What can we offer you?
