Customer Service Representative — Gladstone Park, Hume Area

Accessing and adopting modern systems and processes to navigate the current market challenges. ABOUT THE ROLE With growth, our client wants to add a Customer Service working a team of 4. The ideal candidate brings experience in a similar customer-facing role in International Freight Forwarding. Maintaining a portfolio of accounts, you will work closely with your clients and internal departments to ensure the smooth execution of freight movements, including quoting, order tracking, coordinating routings and general customer relations. DUTIES Maintain and service a portfolio of accounts Ensure all movements are DIFOT through strong reporting structures Provide daily status reports and troubleshoot potential issues Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure minimal delays Build strong relationships with external stakeholders SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 5 years experience in a freight forwarding role (Operations or Customer Service) Understand end to end import/export freight forwarder process Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in written text Sound systems usage ability (CW1, ICS, 1-stop) Strong computer literacy (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) COMPANY CULTURE Mature and settled team with a distinctly local feel.
