Essential Requirements: • Current Blue Card or ability to obtain. • Current Queensland, unrestricted Driver Licence. • Ability to complete and pass a Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women - Licensed Care Service Criminal History screening check (LCS). Please note that this check can take 4 weeks to be processed. About the Role: • The Administration Assistant will form an integral part of the Finance and Administration team, providing support to the Executive Manager and the Finance and Administration team. • They will provide a wide range of administrative services to the Finance and Administration team to help meet the organisational needs. • Undertake all general administrative duties for the Finance and Administration, including but not limited to digital filing, filing, photocopying, mail, scanning, binding, laminating, formatting of documents etc. • Provide support to the Roster Officer and assist when required or as directed by the Executive Manager. • Respond to Administration enquiries, referring matters to the appropriate team member when necessary. • Receive and greet stakeholders and visitors. • Prepare for meetings when required, including preparation of food, documents, and other duties as directed by the Executive manager • Assist with light cleaning duties, including tidying of kitchens, taking bins out and other duties as directed by the Executive Manager. • As required, assist other Finance and Administration team members in the performance of their role consistent with your skills, competencies, and training. • Follow and provide any other duties as reasonable requested and directed by the Executive Manager, including any ad-hoc duties as required. • Willing and able to be part of an On call roster over a 24 hour period (approximately 4 days a month, depending on other staff availability) Why work for YCSS? • Generous salary 11.5% Super (as of 1st July 2024). • Have your birthday off each year. • Genuine opportunities for career progression and growth. • Supportive and inclusive culture. • EAP counselling and regular supervision meetings. • Free onsite parking.
