Warehouse Team Leader — Tullamarine, Hume Area

Join a global pharmaceutical logistics company and medical courier on a full-time permanent basis as a Warehouse Team Leader Who will you be working with? Our client is a global leader in specialty logistics, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of compliance, safety, and client satisfaction in the pharmaceutical sector. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their team. As the Warehouse Team Leader, you will oversee various functions of the warehouse, ensuring compliance with all division, corporate, and regulatory requirements. You will ensure that all logistics procedures are carried out in a proper and timely manner for both clinical and commercial activities. This is a hands-on role, requiring you to actively support and lead the team in daily tasks. Key Responsibilities: • Direct workflow, motivate, train, and monitor performance of warehouse associates. • Assist in selection, training, career development, and performance management of associates. • Oversee staff in Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory Management teams. • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations. • Maintain records of order processes and ensure quality control of shipments. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lead projects to streamline processes. • Be on call 24/7 for logistics support and occasional on-site assistance. Experience and Educational Requirements: • Logistics Degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience. • Minimum of three years' experience in operations, logistics, or warehousing. • Experience with receiving, inventory, and pick/pack processes. • Understanding of handling pharmaceutical products and SOPs. • Current forklift license (counterbalance and electric reach trucks). • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Work Environment: • Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg using safe work methods. • Willingness to work in various temperature-controlled environments (15 to 25°C, 2 to 8°C, -20 to -30°C). • Participate in physical inventory and weekend tasks as scheduled.
