Warehouse Team Leader — Kilburn, Port Adelaide Area

Wattyl are a part of the growing global Hempel company, producing a broad range of paints, varnishes, lacquers and special purpose protective coatings. We are seeking an energetic and motivated Warehouse Team leader to join our team. Located at Kilburn , in this role you will be supervising our warehouse operators working closely with your manager ensuring operations processes occur safely, effectively and efficiently. As a Warehouse Team Leader you will: Engage with and lead a team of Warehouse operators Fulfil all orders and maintain accurate inventory Coordinate and receive incoming shipments and oversee receiving and dispatch Transacting outgoing shipments and transfer shipments to other warehouses Monitor replenishment and allocation of orders Pick and pack internal and external orders, and return shipments Support manufacturing distribution and dispatch as require Ensure HSE processes are followed in all areas of the DC and adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements In order to be considered you will have: Minimum 3 years experience as Warehouse Team Leader Forklift license required-High reach experience essential (3 yearse experience) Computer knowledge, specifically with SAP or ERP system Lifting up to 25kg and being very active in this physical role Experience with warehouse procedures, best practice and (KPIs) Actively participate in safety improvement initiatives and gain commitment of team to participate, taking ownership for resolution of safety issues in area of responsibility You can expect a competitive rate of pay, on the job learning not to mention work-life balance The successful applicant will be covered by the EBA and enjoy such conditions as: 35 hour week One RDO each fortnight Appropriate shift loading Superannuation and salary sacrifice benefits on offer.
