Job details Position status Permanent Position type Full-time Occupational group Justice & Legal Classification AO4 Workplace Location Brisbane Inner City,Brisbane - North Job ad reference QLD/RBH574179 Closing date 08-Jul-2024 Yearly salary Fortnightly salary Total remuneration Salary Other Job duration Permanent full time Contact person Teresa Luque Contact details (07) 3646 7423 Access the National Relay Service About the role Permanent full time opportunity to undertake administrative processing of subpoenas, summons, search warrants, court orders and other requests received at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Metro North Hospital and Health Service About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders including other government agencies and departments, legal representatives, insurance companies, private health facilities, patients and members of the public in relation to their applications and requests for information in accordance with appropriate legislation and MNHHS policies and guidelines. Review and authorise the release of relevant information in relation to requests for access to medical records via MNHHS' Administrative Access Policy and/or other legislative mechanisms. Maintain up to date knowledge of applicable fees and charges for provision of information in accordance with Queensland Government's Schedule of Fees and Charges and Q-Comp Schedule of Fees. Refer any possible material to be considered for exemption to the Right to Information Decision Makers. Liaise with the Qld Police Service (QPS), Federal Police and Forensic Police in order to manage requests for patient information, statements, medical reports and records seized under Search Warrant.
