Melbourne based Market rates 6 Month initial contract with strong chance of extension Very heavily project focused with minimal BAU Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Senior Systems Engineer to lead and execute project activities for a large organisation, ensuring seamless operations of Microsoft Windows Infrastructure during server migrations and upgrades. The ideal candidate will focus on Active Directory, Windows Server, and Windows Security, while maintaining operational stability and enhancing PowerShell automation processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate product migration to upgraded servers. Design and implement Windows OS upgrade solutions, collaborating with project stakeholders. Develop solutions for Windows Infrastructure, focusing on security and stability. Maintain server infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security standards. Automate processes using PowerShell scripting and templates. Manage directory deployments and related components (DNS, DHCP, Group Policies). Integrate new products with IT security guidelines. Troubleshoot incidents as part of a rotational squad. Work with performance and monitoring tools. Collaborate closely with engineering teams and external vendors.
