About the Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Retail Engagement Specialist . - Located in Gepps Cross. The Retail Engagement (Digital) Specialist is a trusted adviser and business partner to retailers, to drive retailer adoption then shopper usage, of Metcash-led digital programs. Adoption and usage of the digital programmes will contribute to Retailer & Metcash sales & ensure both are set up for future growth. This role is a key point of contact in the State team for retailers and ASMs, acting as expert support and a conduit to the Metcash national Digital Marketing & Retailer Engagement teams. The continual education and knowledge growth of retailers into the digital environment is vital and within this role key outputs will be adoption of retailers to the Metcash-Led digital programmes, educating retailers on the benefits of these programmes to their business, grow & retain shoppers to the programmes, increase usage with shoppers. In this Role Build relationships & support retailers to adopt then execute successful digital programmes Development of a State Digital Strategy to acquire and grow the retail shoppers, ultimately enhancing the shopper experience Create, Implement, and liaise with The State Area Managers. Create Digital Educational support and interactions. You’re Likely a Match If Strong knowledge of digital channels, campaign media and customer journeys, particularly google search, email marketing, social marketing Experience of sales and/or marketing, preferably in the retail supermarket sector Excellent attention to detail and creative thinker Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with individuals and groups from various stakeholders Life at Metcash Experience a supportive and flexible work environment.
