In this role you will work collaboratively with a team of communication colleagues and engage with a range of department and government stakeholders to deliver quality graphic design services that support communication and engagement objectives. You will work in a fast-paced but highly supportive environment managing multiple priorities with competing deadlines. What you will be doing Designing for a wide range of print and digital materials including brochures, advertisements, presentations, multimedia, newsletters, banners, flyers, large-scale print (exhibition displays) and marketing materials. Advising and assisting communication officers with the development of creative design strategies to achieve business objectives. Providing accurate and timely technical advice regarding design-related matters. Creating and producing quality graphic design that is accessible and meets Queensland Government accessibility guidelines. Providing advice on corporate identity standards and issues relating to the department's Corporate Identity Policy and the Queensland Government Corporate Identity Guidelines. Developing templates in the Microsoft suite for the production of documents by departmental staff. Liaising with external suppliers of design services and products and monitoring the quality of work delivered. Maintaining the department's photo library and other graphic databases for graphic design and multimedia projects. Applications will remain current for 12 months.
