With DC operations currently in Melbourne and Brisbane, they are opening their new Sydney DC within the next month and are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Warehouse Supervisor to join their team This is a temp to perm opportunity, and will commence as a small operation, with approx 6 - 7 team members to start with and then will expand to a team of 20 - 25 over the next 12 months. If you are an experienced Team Leader looking to take the next step of your career or an experienced Warehouse Supervisor looking for a change, this could be your next role. In this busy hands on role, you will take accountability for ensuring all operations in the warehouse are carried out efficiently and effectively. Leading a small team, you will oversee the accuracy of reporting, inventory/storage, in/out bounds goods and customer delivery/service. Responsibilities: Supervise the day to day operational activities providing coaching and training to the warehouse team. Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records. Implement warehouse policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment DC will be paper based for first 12 months, will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of the WMS Implement continuous improvement initiatives Assist with staff inductions, training of new staff and provide ongoing support and guidance Requirements: Relevant experience in a fast-paced DC/warehouse environment Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
