Excellent opportunity to join a well-established Global Freight Forwarder located in Port Botany This company is a well-established Global Freight Forwarder located in Port Botany and are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and manage the warehouse operations. You must have freight forwarding warehouse operations experience at a supervisor or management level to be considered for this role. Duties include: Management of small warehouse team Container/Unit unpacks/packs Receiving/picking orders Administration of warehouse system Handling debtor/creditors for warehouse Loading and unloading trucks/units Liaising with internal departments such as Transport, Customs and Management Accurate and timely processing of orders Prioritise workload and organise paperwork Requirements for the role: Current Forklift License essential Experience in a supervisor or management role (in freight forwarding) Bonded warehouse experience preferred but not essential DG/CW1/Airfreight experience preferred but not essential Develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders to get the job done Adhere to best-practice warehouse processes and controls Ability to prioritise and manage team workflow Hands on approach with a can-do attitude The ability to effectively lead and motivate staff Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is an experienced warehouse manager and is looking to work for a global organisation who offer stability and a great team environment.
