The Opportunity As Ecommerce Specialist, the purpose of this role is to ensure Catch customers are provided with the best possible website shopping experience, with well-presented products, compelling calls-to-action and relevant content across all touch points. This role is responsible for the supply and promotion of products across Catch and oversee different categories of website products, help coordinate site inventory and support marketing campaigns. Together with your category responsibilities you will support strategic projects that support key business initiatives that are critical to the growth and success of Catch. What you’ll be doing What does a normal day in the life of an E-Commerce Specialist look like? Well, no 2 days are alike at Catch, but you could probably expect your day to include some of the following things: Coordinating daily merchandising to support category sales, bestselling items and ensure an exceptional customer experience and landing page journey across both Retail and Marketplace sellers and business units, including both free and paid promotional placements. Manage the end-to-end promotional set-up and go-to-market through supporting buyers and marketplace stakeholders. Briefing site and channel requirements to ensure the customer is considered at all times. Help to identify product opportunities and trends though targeted customer and competitor research. Ability to identify new opportunities and implement learnings quickly. Collaborate internally and cross functionally to ensure all touch points are optimised and customer journeys are considered. Attend and speak in cross-functional meetings representing the needs of your team The ability to analyse products both quantitatively and qualitatively, identifying trends, demand and opportunities through site and channel analysis. Responsible for performance tracking and ad-hoc analysis tasks to ensure customer experience excellence, optimising for customer engagement and conversion across all channels and customer touch points. Support the Merchandise team on data analysis to drive in-season business and inform product strategies including weekly trade reporting and product performance. The skills you'll have Experience working within a retail organisation – previous eCommerce experience will be highly regarded. Experience monitoring and allocating products and understanding promotional material, ideally being involved in the creative aspects of promotions The ability to review reports and analyse data and be able to articulate findings back to the business. An understanding of the merchandising lifecycle and coordinating merchandise events, working with the buying team around stock levels and working with design teams for promotion activity. Strong communication skills both verbal and written – you’ll be interacting with Senior Managers, the Marketplace and Design Team. Experience understanding data-led decision making Proficient use of excel and BI tools highly desirable.
