The Opportunity Due to growth, our Digital Services team are currently seeking an experienced IoT (Internet of Things) Engineer to be based in Melbourne, Victoria. This full-time permanent position will see you responsible for the integration (provisioning, connectivity, end-to-end testing, cybersecurity check) and Service Bureau handover when deploying Schneider Electrical Digital Services Offers into the Customer Software Platform. Reporting to our IoT Technical Services Manager, you will get the opportunity to play a central role in the set-up and execution of complex technical solutions, where you will utilise your background within an environment that will give you the opportunity to make an Impact with a truly global organisation as part of the team at Schneider Electric. This exciting new career opportunity will see you responsible for: The integration (provisioning, connectivity, end-to-end testing, cybersecurity check) and Service Bureau handover when deploying Schneider Services Digital Offers into Customer Software Platforms Supporting the set-up and execution phases of complex solutions Commission the IT/IOT portion of the digital services and conduct various other testing activities in collaboration with various technical stakeholders Troubleshoot and support the Tendering teams for the complex solutions set-up Review customer electrical distribution network (HV, LV…) to identify critical assets for condition monitoring Support customer projects on all connectivity matters including cyber security, analytics Act as a technical contact as you proactively support Project Managers and the Business Development Manager and ensure the accurate interface between customer About You Relevant degree qualification coupled with previous experience in a similar role Proven relevant work experience in Operational Technology (Control system, RTU, Gateway, Energy Automation System) with a mandatory experience in Ethernet networks. Passionate about emerging predictive and analytic technologies and knowledge of equipment communications protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, IEC61850) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to partner with key stakeholders and achieve outcomes within a global team Ability to adapt and perform in a fast moving and Customer focused environment Those with experience in Industrial IoT will be viewed favourably Schneider Electric does not accept unsolicited resumes/candidate profiles from external agencies or suppliers via any method.
