Controls Process Engineer - Manufacturing — St Marys, Penrith Area

The Opportunity Based out of the St Mary’s site, you will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager where you will develop and implement process controls including PLC networks, HMIs, SCADA Solutions, digital workflows and Power Apps to digitalise and automate data collection, collaboration, Information display and system integration. These controls will be used to improve the safety, quality, and productivity at Corinthian Doors, providing real time data to improve collaboration and enhance decision making. Where applicable, automation controls will also be developed and implemented to remotely manage key plant services. As a key collaborator, you will support the maintenance, logistics, planning, customer service and production departments focusing on identifying and improving equipment reliability and process control. Key Responsibilities Undertake reliability analysis activities and projects to ensure the long-term reliability of equipment and control systems and perform redesign/design modification to improve reliability performance. Undertake and drive continuous improvement of capital and non-capital projects on machinery to increase throughput and efficiency of equipment. Provide and assist with training and development of maintenance and operational personnel. Liaise with suppliers, clients, consultants, or commissioning engineers concerning project design, installation, construction, fault finding and commissioning. Project management including capital writing, procurement, scheduling, UAT, implementation, commissioning, testing and handover to production.
