Monitor performance Assist in fee generation. Develop negotiation skills and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders. Provide technical leadership and liaise between the project team, management, and customers. Perform drainage, water quality, and flood modelling using engineering software. Prepare civil engineering design reports, assessments, and stormwater designs for DA & CC. Oversee and check drafting work to ensure it meets design requirements. Manage projects, including estimating, resource allocation, and scheduling. Site inspections and handle builder site enquiries and design changes. Prepare invoices for projects at milestones or monthly. What you'll need: BSc Civil Eng (Honours) or equivalent, Highly desirable are MIEAust CPEng NER and relevant state registration. Substantial civil engineering design experience, specializing in stormwater design, flood assessment, vehicular movements, pavement, public domain design, water quality, and WSUD. Expertise in rough grading, bulk earthworks, and material quantity estimates. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to develop complex and pragmatic solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with external agencies and project teams. Ability to work effectively in a small team environment. Proficiency in checking drafting documentation and meeting deadlines. Ability to inspire confidence, promote the practice, and secure repeat clients. Engineering leadership and mentoring skills. Proven project management skills from fee proposal to construction completion. Proficiency in DRAINS, HEC-RAS (desirable), TUFLOW, MUSIC, AutoCAD, and Civil3D.
