The Internal Sales Specialist will be key in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. Role Summary: Responsibilities: Answer incoming phone calls and handle customer inquiries professionally. Qualify sales leads to ensure they meet company criteria. Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for customers. Follow up on quotes to convert leads into sales. Deliver excellent customer service, providing technical support and problem-solving as needed. Maintain and grow existing client relationships by understanding their needs and offering appropriate solutions. Secure new business opportunities to expand the customer base. Utilize CRM systems to track and manage customer interactions and sales activities. Collaborate with the sales manager to develop and implement sales strategies. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to provide expert advice to customers. Requirements Qualifications: Demonstrated welding experience is highly prioritized, with a strong understanding of welding processes, equipment, and safety standards. Proven track record in sales, ideally within the welding or industrial supply sector, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Expertise in using CRM systems to manage customer relationships, track sales activities, and analyze data. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with the ability to generate reports, manage data, and communicate effectively via email. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service, with the ability to understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions. Familiarity with the welding industry, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities. Energetic, motivated, and passionate about the welding industry and customer service.
