An exciting opportunity for a Sales & Operations Manager (SOM) at Bay Audio, VIC to lead the way in our strategic approach within our Sales Department. About the role The primary responsibility of this key role is to effectively lead and manage store operations and each store team throughout the nominated area(s), to maximise revenue, profitability and overall business efficiencies that support the company's strategic objectives. Location: Melbourne, Victoria The responsibilities include the below and more: Operational Leadership Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring on the day to day operations of the retail and Clinical teams within the area Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the Retail and Clinical teams, through the successful implementation of Bay Audio Policies and Procedures Enhance and support the communication between NSO, (National Support Office), store and Clinical teams to drive efficiency and productivity improvement within the operations team Drive lead generation and revenue to exceed budgets and targets on a consistent basis Lead, manage and coach the Clinical teams and Store Managers on a daily / weekly basis during store visits and other communications Provide information on key business issues to the relevant stakeholder on operational and people management issues Ensure people management processes are in place, understood and used effectively Ensure that the store teams understand and can effectively manage the Clinical schedule for maximum productivity to drive revenue Responsible for reviewing and authorising all expense claim forms for the team Team Management Manage the recruitment of Clinical, MSO and retail team members with emphasise on selecting the right team required through effective interview processes Ensure all new team members are correctly on-boarded into the business, along with correct timetabling for training and follow-up in all stores Ensure all employment gateways are adhered to including; Day one/week one, first month / six month probation reviews Develop and evolve area people plan, scoping opportunities for growth and future vacancies Forecast recruitment needs on a store by store basis working with NSO Recruitment partner Ensure the Employee Assessment and Development process is followed Coordinate training and development programs to develop skills and competencies to achieve business goals Other Develop and enhance effective rostering and management of daily, weekly and monthly rosters We are looking for a leader You will have: Minimum 5 years in a Senior Store Management role or Multi-site equivalent Extensive retail and or sales management experience and knowledge Practical and effective experience in people leadership and management Demonstrated effectiveness in contributing to an organisations achievements Strong and proven ability to motivate and lead large teams Drivers licence Preferably, you will be located in VIC Metro What's in it for you?: Competitive remuneration with performance bonus and full maintained company vehicle A day off to celebrate your Birthday Yearly flu vaccinations Training, career, and learning development opportunities Free access to our Employee Assistance Program Free Hearing Aids for you, 50% discount for immediate family members, and 30% for other family members and friends Discounted Private Health Insurance and other benefits and products International career opportunities within the Amplifon Group globally Bay Audio, a brand of Amplifon is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a diverse and equitable workforce environment.
