Qualifications & experience Light Rigid (LR) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain) Relevant light rigid bus driving experience Exposure to children and strong ability to relate well to children Sound knowledge of the operations of a passenger vehicle Strong understanding of NSW and Victorian road rules Tasks & responsibilities To provide a safe and reliable transport service for the children and community attending Halve Waste programs and events. To work in an efficient and effective manner with all clients and staff. Observe requirements of RTA and driver authority. To prepare Halve Waste bus for collection of children/community members including; ensuring cleanliness, safety of participants, maintaining required vehicle checks, installing booster and car seats where necessary and fuelling of bus. Perform other tasks or duties as directed by the Supervisor which are within the limits of the employee’s skill, competence and training. Hours Based on a 38 hour week, working on a casual basis, with actual days and times to be negotiated with the supervisor, with no RDO.
