Are you an experienced Senior Travel Consultant who can mentor and lead a team. If your answer is yes, I'm looking for you. As Senior Travel Consultant, your role encompasses various responsibilities that contribute to sales success, excellent customer experiences, and efficient business operations What the role looks like: Sales Experience: Take ownership of the complete sales process Ensure individual sales targets are met each month In-Country Customer Experience : Establish and maintain a clear and positive process for resolving issues Disruption Manage disruptions that may impact customers' travel experiences Business & Company Support: Lead by example and ensure adherence to company best practices and values across all sales and service interactions. Possess a strong understanding of finance best practices Ensure the office environment is welcoming, friendly, and running efficiently Mentoring and Coaching Sales Team Members: Provide coaching, feedback, and mentoring to junior sales team members to help them achieve their sales targets and professional growth. Assist in onboarding and training new team members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Support to People Leaders: Provide additional support to People Leaders as needed This role requires a blend of sales expertise, customer service excellence, financial acumen, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and team support. It's about driving sales success while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the business. What you will need: 3-5 years of experience in the Travel Industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of travel planning and management. Genuine passion for sharing and creating unique Australia travel experiences, showcasing a love for travel and exploration. Proven ability to meet and surpass sales targets, demonstrating a track record of achieving KPIs and meeting deadlines consistently. Previous experience mentoring, guiding, and coaching others, showcasing leadership and teamwork skills. Exceptional value-based sales professional with a proven customer-focused track record, prioritizing customer satisfaction and loyalty. Excellent customer service focus with the drive and skills to deliver the best experience to customers, including responsiveness to issues or complaints. Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Proactive team player who is eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to the success of the team and the organization.
