: Permanent, part time opportunity (30.4 hours per week) Excellent benefits including salary packaging Friendly and supportive team environment About the Role This permanent part time role is an exciting opportunity to join the Mental Health & Wellbeing Team at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) at a time when we are developing a new clinical Perinatal Emotional Health Service (PEHS). The Administration Officer will provide high quality administration support to the PEHS and will form part of the administrative support team for the Hawthorn Community Mental Health Service. Under the guidance of the Manager Hawthorn Community Mental Health and in liaison with the Administration Coordinator the Administration Officer will contribute to the development of efficient and effective data and office systems and services that support the delivery of excellent clinical care. Act as a frontline contact for the PEHS. Provide a reception function and be responsible for the collection and collation of physical and electronic documentation and data. Contribute to the PEHS achieving the key performance indicators for perinatal emotional health services as set by the Department of Health. The classification for this position will be YC89 ($70,855 per annum pro rata) Your Contribution Demonstrated highly developed communication skills and ability to communicate with respect to all staff, consumers and others both verbally and in writing. Experience in providing administrative support for a clinical mental health service or related area. Demonstrated advocacy for the provision of consumer-centred healthcare. Completion of tertiary level qualifications in administration or related area. Current National Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain. We are establishing a small multidisciplinary Perinatal Emotional Health Service (PEHS). The PEHS aims to improve early intervention and treatment of antenatal and postnatal depression and other mental health illnesses for expectant and new mothers and parents, or those who experience a miscarriage or stillbirth.
