Senior 365 Exchange Online Admin — The Rocks, Sydney

Manage the service delivery, support and proactive maintenance of Bank's IT Infrastructure services and processes. Contribute towards maximising the availability and cyber protections of IT Infrastructure systems by enhancing resilience and recovery capabilities to minimising the impact of incidents. The key objective of the role is to provide expert services responsible for the delivery of the Bank's projects in relation to planning, designing, building, testing, performance tuning and ensuring operational readiness of the Bank's IT Infrastructure services. The successful candidate will gather requirements for design, development and deployment of a platform or product ensuring adequate resiliency. This position is a two-year fixed term contract. Other key tasks will include: Collaborating with other IT teams including Network and Security. Facilitate the successful delivery of project requirements Deliver the required documentation, reporting and data collection for asset management, audit, standard operations and proactive management of the Bank's end-to-end IT infrastructure services and processes. Continuously improve systems to enhance the user experience, operate efficiently and cost effectively, including maximising automation and orchestration of implementation and ongoing operations Architecture and engineering of Microsoft Office 365 Groups, Teams, providing guidance and deep technical knowledge on various Teams architecture elements deployed in an Enterprise environment. The Corporate Services Group is responsible for the effective provision of information technology, workplace (asset management, facilities management, building security, and procurement) and data management services to support the delivery of the Bank's policy, operational and corporate objectives. Your background To be successful in this critical role you will possess; Hands on experience in Exchange online migrations Experience in Microsoft365 Platform Management Experience in Microsoft Defender for Exchange and cloud applications Experience Azure AD- Conditional Access Interest in Cyber Security especially on vulnerability management. 7-10 years of demonstrated IT experience in a service delivery or system administration role. Experience of automation of system administrative tasks especially on software updates. Be proactive in taking initiatives to automate manual tasks. Willingness to maintain, or undertaken provided training to acquire, IT and industry related certifications as products are updated/released. M365 administration consisting of Microsoft 365 Platform and associated services and products. Responsible for Exchange Online, Exchange On premise Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview. Define deployment release roadmap and provide guidance to the implementation and Project team. Direct involvement in the configuration of the Microsoft Platform including the Hybrid Exchange solution, supporting official platform releases. Lead migration of mailboxes Exchange on-prem to cloud working alongside 365 Technical Architect and project support Team. Lead the technical implementations of 365 enterprise-level solutions ensuring adherence to industry best practices, Bank goals, security and information governance, and performance requirements. Contribute to High Level Designs, Detail Level Design and Technical/Release Maintenance Plans Determine how best to leverage the benefits of Microsoft 365 key features to unlock improved user experience, increase security, enhance availability, reporting, and monitoring. Your qualities Technically savvy and inquisitive by nature Extensive experience and expertise in designing, implementing, and migrating Microsoft 365 hybrid solutions, including a thorough understanding of Microsoft 365 applications, services, features, and licensing. Familiarity with technology and hands-on configuration Familiarity with MS partners and Fast Track Leader who will challenge designs and guide technical team. Motivated with attention to detail. Strong knowledge of Azure and on-premises infrastructure components, such as Active Directory, networking, security, and identity management Analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct in-depth analysis of existing systems, applications, and infrastructure, identifying gaps and recommending improvements. Technical skills Experience in M365 administration consisting of Exchange Online, Hybrid Infrastructure, Exchange 2016/2019 On premise environment, Experience managing a medium to large Exchange on-premises environment and its infrastructure Experience in Exchange Online Mailbox Management, Exchange Online Protection, Email Security, Mail filtering, Performance Management Mail flow, User Management, 365 Groups Experience of Azure, Intune, Purview, Entra ID and AD Connect, Password Hash Sync, Pass Thru Authentication Seamless SSO, Entra Self Service Password Reset. Knowledge of, migration, and deployment experience with M365, ideally within the banking or Government Sector. Knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, network, virtualisation, Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology Relevant M365 certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert. Can demonstrate proficiency and expertise in Microsoft 365 architecture and administration. Desired: understanding of Zscaler technology, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Entra ID Access Management Technologies such as Conditional Access, MFA, Cert Base Authentication.
