About the Role The eacher Aide will have responsibility to fulfil the following duties: Administration: Provide clerical support and services, including receiving and responding to telephone calls and enquiries from students, families and staff, where necessary, directing these to the appropriate officer. Stock Maintenance: Conduct periodic stocktake of HPE/Sport resources across the school Conduct regular maintenance of HPE/Sport stock including but not limited to; transporting equipment from one storage point to another across the school cleaning and organising storage areas laundering jerseys, bibs and other sporting apparel maintaining equipment including pumping up balls, identifying faulty equipment and reporting hazards preparing equipment for upcoming rotations, units and competitions, replacing batteries Assist the Head of Department - Health and Physical Education/Sport in seeking quotes for equipment or services Program Support: Assist with preparation of sporting kits including uniforms, draws, permission forms, risk assessments. Assist the Sports Co-ordinator in the organisation and implementation of the Year 7, 8 and 9 Sport Program by; allocating small numbers of students to sport groups compiling information for teacher resource folders supporting teachers with the setup and pack-up of sport Assist Carnival Convenors in the organisation of school: Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics Carnivals through administration support In addition, this position requires the applicant to have demonstrated the skills and capacity to: Prepare and edit documents using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook Work with limited supervision whilst also being an effective team member, responsive to feedback Work with photo/video editing software Interested?
