Ancient History Teacher - Temporary Full Time — Edgecliff, Eastern Suburbs

At Ascham, teachers are responsible for the intellectual development and wellbeing of their students. Teachers deliver excellence in developing and delivering academic programs through the Dalton Plan, administration of student assessment and results, marking and record keeping. We are currently seeking a Temporary (1 Year) Full Time History teacher to commence from Term 4, 2024. You will be covering a staff member on leave To be successful you will possess: A tertiary major in History and accreditation with NESA. Ability to differentiate for a diverse group of non-selective students and teach to the strengths of girls. Experience in teaching Stage 4 and 5 History and the ability to teach Stage 6 Ancient History. Demonstrated excellence in communication and writing skills. Proven ICT skills within an environment where students bring a personal device to school Well-developed time management and organisational skills. Willingness to continue to develop as a teacher Experience and success with teaching special needs and provisions is an advantage A current First Aid and CPR Certificate A valid Working with Children clearance.
