About the role Ventia's Defence Base Services contract have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate to join our Commercial Estate Upkeep team. We are offering a unique opportunity for a recent graduate or junior Commercial Specialist to grow their career within one of Ventia's largest contracts. This is a permanent full time role, which can be based in Melbourne or Perth. We have offices in Cremorne VIC & Adelaide Terrace, WA. What you'll do Undertake preparation of Contract Change Proposals Provide commercial advisory work specific to Estate Upkeep Ensure contractual commitments are met by their due dates Work closely with Project Support Services to prepare for pipeline of new project related Contract Change Proposals and to complete all outstanding legacy project related Contract Change Proposals Provide accurate and timely inputs to consolidated reporting metrics Engage with procurement / subcontracts in relation to downstream Estate Upkeep requirements. About You Qualifications in Business, Commerce or Law is desirable although not required 3 years' experience in a similar role & prior experience in Contract administration Commercial acumen, problem solving, analytical and conceptual thinking skills Ability to analyse and interpret data for independent decision making Demonstrated ability to self-manage and prioritise workloads A keenness to learn and genuine drive for a career in Legal, Finance and Commerce. You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible to obtain a Defence security clearance.
