Company Description Banquets Team Leader (Part Time) | Mercure Gold Coast Resort Mercure Gold Coast Resort is an oasis located amongst expansive gardens on the Gold Coast. Overlooking the Oasis pool and the ninth hole of the Palm Meadows Golf Course, The Green Dining restaurant and bar welcomes our guests. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Services Manager, we are on the search for a Team Leader to assist the Food & Beverage leadership team in running the Resort's banqueting operation. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Assisting and working with the Food & Beverage management team to ensure customer expectations are met in all formats of the operation with a particular focus on the Resort's conferencing and events operations. Effectively dealing with customer concerns and complaints. Assisting in training and nurturing new additions to the Food & Beverage team. Assisting in promoting a positive working culture within the Food & Beverage team. Qualifications YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE: To be the successful candidate you will have demonstrated experience in a Hotel or Resort working in a Food & Beverage capacity. Experience in banqueting operations will be highly regarded. Excellent communication skills, and high standard of grooming and personal presentation You show the energy, drive, and a positive attitude that will be contagious to your food and all your colleagues Currently hold, or be willing and able to obtain Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
