Position Objectives: As a Receptionist / Admin Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and provide essential administrative support to our Leadership and Administration teams. Your positive attitude, collaborative approach, and commitment to continuous improvement will ensure our clients receive the best possible support. Key Duties: As first point of contact at front of office, answering the phone. Managing incoming enquiries and messages using the approved email messaging template Completing tasks related to incoming enquiries within the scope of your role and training plan General office administration Attending Administration Meetings and completing delegated tasks within agreed timeframes Assisting with client intake, handovers, and updating documents Updating communication and instructions to communicate information and appointments to staff Document archiving and backup support Key Criteria: Working With Children Check (employee) 2 years’ experience in office administration or demonstrated experience in a similar role NDIS Worker Screening Check Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to prioritise and organise time effectively Demonstrated organisational and time management skills Proficient use of new technology, MS word, Excel, emailing, CRM systems and other organisational tools Experience in the Disability Sector Commitment to maintaining client and staff privacy and confidentiality Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team Current Australian Driver’s Licence Skills Required: Positive and upbeat manner Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to recognise and respect the scope of practice Confidence in working autonomously and handling challenging conversations Highly organised, efficient, and able to navigate multiple priorities Professional representation of Newdawn Support Services and upholding company values Competent computer skills Effective written and verbal communication Strong time management and task prioritisation skills
