The Role: Join us in the heart of the Snowy Mountains as a Digital Engineer for the groundbreaking Snowy2.0 Pumped Hydro Project Located in Cooma, you'll experience the beauty of the Snowy Mountains every day. Surrounded bystunning landscapes and a welcoming community, Cooma offers a high quality of life with a rangeof outdoor activities, from skiing and hiking to fishing and mountain biking As a Digital Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting digital engineering across the Snowy2.0 Owners team. You'll work closely with our Owner's Team and Contractor to ensure thatEmployers Requirements are met, contributing to the success of this landmark project. Join us in Cooma and be a part of history in the making at Snowy 2.0 Responsibilities include: ● Provide guidance to BIM across programs, to support key activities such as staff training,design development, stakeholder engagement and project delivery● Co-develop and implement BIM processes and data schemas to manage information andBIM deliverables throughout the project lifecycle● Report on project implementation of the BIM, reporting on progress, cost, quality andtechnical issues that will contribute to the performance and continual improvement of BIM● Assuring high-quality digital engineering deliverables across complex, interdisciplinaryprojects in a timely and cost effective manner● Acting as a champion for change, providing digital engineering subject matter expertiseand training to drive innovation and increase digital outcomes on projects● Engaging with project stakeholders and service providers to ensure a commonimplementation and alignment of BIM and how it supports all stages of the project lifecycle. We're looking for someone with: ● Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline and extensive experience in similar roles,preferably in the energy and/or construction industry.● Demonstrated technical experience with CAD and BIM processes to support effectivecommunication, coordination and information exchange between project stakeholdersacross the project lifecycle.● Demonstrated experience in implementing BIM specifications, standards, procedures andtechnology in collaboration with design consultants, subcontractors and project deliveryteams. ● Demonstrated expertise with CAD and BIM Software and technologies like Revizto, Aconex, Navisworks and/or Revit. ● Experience of working in the hydro-electricity industry would be advantageous.● Strong working knowledge and experience using industry standard in BIM● Excellent written and verbal communication● The ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives withoutsupervision when required, with a flexible attitude● Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment● Exceptional attention to detail If this sounds like you, please apply now to join our Snowy 2.0 team
