Group Sales Manager — Ryde, Ryde Area

Next Gen is looking for an energetic, passionate and experienced Group Sales Manager to manage and lead the day to day sales process for its clubs across Australia and New Zealand. About the Role As the Group Sales Manager, you will focus on the development and daily sales of all Next Gen clubs across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be required to manage the group’s sales process from enquiry to sale completion whilst ensuring sales budgets are achieved and exceeded You will play a key role in working with the Club General Managers to lead, coach and motivate the sales teams, be generous with your knowledge and experience so that they can grow and achieve their targets. This position, based in Ryde will be working closely with the Group Marketing Manager as well as the General Managers and Sales Managers at each of the clubs. What skills do you need to have? Senior sales team management - at least 5 years of experience in the management and mentoring of a sales team within business units that are in geographically diverse locations in a fitness or retail environment Corporate sales - business to business sales presentations and development of relevant material Sales systems analysis and evaluation - design, documentation and implementation of internal controls, identifying indicators of system performance and actions required to improve or correct performance High level reporting - accurate reports and analysis of club sales activities and results with the ability to see the bigger picture Sales training - design and deliver sales training with the ability to develop team members and effectively manage team member performance Willingness and ability - to proactively get involved in the sales process where required People & Culture - focus on internal development and succession planning Design and implementation of sales strategies - working on keeping the 12 month sales plan full and fresh Communication - construction of written reports, oral communication of information and ideas at a senior leadership level Strategic intelligence - deliver correct strategic decisions whilst understanding all implications of those decisions on the business and its objectives Stakeholder management - establishing and maintaining interpersonal working relationships www.nextgenclubs.com.au Please note: Flexible hours and days are required for this role.
