What we have on offer: We're looking for an experienced and confident Customer Service Supervisor to join our close-knit team based in Winnellie NT. This varied role will see you responding to sales queries, quoting customers, liaising with other locations and departments to source products, and counter sales requirements to meet internal and external customer needs. You will be supervising our team of Customer Service Officers and branch Operational staff to ensure a safe workplace at all times, and focus on achieving KPI’s, sales budget and DIFOT success. Your key responsibilities will include: Handle counter sales requirements and strive for a first point of call resolution and total customer satisfaction Identify and assess customer requirements by qualifying what their requirements are based on your increased understanding of the product range Follow up potential sales opportunities and quotes and pass these 2leads onto the external BDM team Monitor customer orders in ASW to ensure stock orders are accurate, lead times are DIFOT KPI are met Identify and assess customer requirements to ascertain the potential of future sales or cross-selling opportunities (up sell) Ensure that delivery expectations are met and manage all overdue orders as a priority, leading and mentoring the team on successful after-sales service Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is maintained by ensuring customer complaints and credits are followed up and satisfactory solutions are obtained for both the customer and the company Actively leads, participates and completes training initiatives Undertakes other duties as requested by Branch Supervisor, including but not limited to budget and sales target planning, branch initiative supervision and team building activities Participates in the safety agenda by ensuring self and peers understand, adhere to, and work towards meeting our WHS Responsibilities as advised in the Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety WHS Policy Demonstrate commitment to safety by ensuring that no safety problem is ignored Ensure that all Identified hazards, near misses and incidents are recorded immediately Contribute to the culture where all employees participate effectively in formal and informal workplace HSE activities, inspections, discussions etc Contribute to the 100% completion of your area HSE plan What you will bring with you: Proven customer service and sales experience Previous management or supervisor experience required Excellent verbal and written communication Confidence and experience with Microsoft Office products - Excel and Word are essential Strong time management skills with attention to detail Ability to multi-task as necessary during busier periods Experience with industrial products such as lifting and rigging, trade products is preferred Motivation to learn and progress into other roles within our business Ability and willingness to work in a small team environment Forklift licence and experience essential First Aid Certificate high regarded Our culture and benefits: To ensure our employees feel valued, supported, and celebrated, we provide a range of employee benefits including: Team events, celebrations, charity drives, and development opportunities Team member discounts on Wesfarmers products Discounted offers from over 300 corporate partners Attractive parental leave policy and more NEXT STEPS If you meet most of the criteria listed above and would like to be considered for this opportunity, please send your application today.
