An opportunity for a Finance Manager - Analysis and Planning to join a Government Body in Melbourne's CBD. The role will commence as a 12-month contract and be part time (3 days p/week). There may be an opportunity to be extended or to transition into a permanent role. Client Details Our client is a Government body located in Melbourne's CBD. Description The successful candidate will be responsible for the following but not limited to: Cost benefit scenario analysis and advise stakeholders Business Planning and Financial Planning Reporting to support strategic decision making and drive strategic decision making Lead the Business Partnering and analytic team Coordinate and partner with internal and external stakeholders applying technical expertise Manage the Analytic function to deliver short term and long term financial planning through robust financial models to provide annual budgets and forecasts whilst adhering to accounting standards Provide monthly financial reports to ELT with concise financial dashboards and commentary and options on financial sustainability for ELT and the Governing board to allow stakeholders to make informed decisions Tender evaluations and contract reviews Process and system improvement initiatives Other ad hoc duties as required by the CFO Profile The successful candidate will be / have: Experience in a similar role for 3 Years Excellent communication skills CA/CPA Qualified with relevant tertiary degree Proven ability to manage a team Intermediate to advanced excel skills Job Offer The Finance Manager - Business Analysis and Partnering role provides an opportunity to join a collaborative team in a commercial role interacting with senior stakeholders at the C-suite level.
