In this pivotal role as Manager Remuneration & Organisational Design, you'll lead a small but mighty team and play a key role in shaping the future of remuneration and organisational design at Queensland Rail, whilst fostering strong connections that ensure everyone feels valued and supported. Here's what you'll do: Reward strategist: Develop and implement competitive remuneration and employee benefits frameworks, ensuring they align with the needs of our diverse workforce across the state. Data detective: Lead the analysis that informs sound organisational design and remuneration frameworks, using data to drive sound decision-making. Design guru: Develop and implement organisational design strategies that support Queensland Rail’s exciting future through operational efficiency. Collaboration champion: Partner with People Business Partners and leaders across Queensland Rail to both design optimal organisational structures, and ensure our reward programs are understood and valued by everyone. Trusted advisor: Provide expert advice and guidance on remuneration and organisational design matters, building strong relationships with key stakeholders both inside and outside the organisation. Communication maestro: Develop and implement communication plans to educate and inform employees about our reward offerings. Lifelong learner: Stay up to date on the latest trends in remuneration and organisational design, continuously improving our practices. To thrive in this role, you'll bring: Remuneration and Organisational Design expertise : Extensive knowledge of contemporary remuneration and organisational design frameworks and strategies, with a proven track record of implementing HR systems. Analytical thinking: Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skills to develop customer-focused solutions. Relationship building: A strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders across the organization. Communication strategies: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially. Collaborative Spirit: A desire to work with others to achieve shared goals. Desire for better: A proven track record of developing, refining and improving, and implementing HR initiatives, particularly in remuneration and organi s ational design. Learning enthusiasm: A passion for continuous learning and staying up to date on industry trends.
