Our client has engaged Michael Page to recruit for a Finance Manager role located in the CBD. The role will exist as a part-time opportunity for an initial 12-month contract (Fixed Term). The role will be 3 days a week. This pivotal role will be managing a small team, and be responsible for the financial integrity and control of the Government body and the role will report directly through to the CFO. Client Details Our client is a Public sector entity that exists in Melbourne's CBD. Description The Finance Manager will be responsible for but not limited to: Manage the Financial Services team: Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Assets Accounting Manage to ensure accruals based financial statements and reports are prepared timely Preparation of the year end Financial Accounts with accordance to AASB standards Cost centre management reports and analysis Manage Cash-flow Lead the external audit process and be the main point of contact for the auditors Profile The successful candidate will be/have CA/CPA Qualified Experienced in audit/leading an external audit Excellent communication skills Immediate start Proven managerial skills and experience Open to part-time opportunity Job Offer Competitive remuneration level Opportunity to extend beyond the contract Hybrid working Supportive team environment To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
