Construction/Piping Coordinator - New Plant Build — Erskine Park, Penrith Area

Reporting to the Construction Manager you will be responsible for construction planning: Ensure that the planning includes key activities and milestones. Witness and sign-off all hold points for piping installation. Assist in the isolation planning for construction activities that interface with existing operations. Participate in confined space risk assessments and perform the role of confined space responsible person for the construction period. Overview, with the Construction Team, the reporting of construction progress monitoring & installation contractors. Monitor installation, construction and testing to meet Contract Performance Acceptance Criteria Ensure compliance with all nominated Australian and International Standards and Codes of Practice Review the development of engineering designs to ensure constructability of the equipment and allows ongoing operations and maintenance. Ensure that key construction criteria are included in tender documents and subsequent contract documents. You will possess: 10 years of experience in the construction aspects of projects in heavy industry and associated aspects including HSEC and contractor management. Experience in the safe and successful development and delivery of large construction project(s) in a leadership role Experience in the construction of metal processing or similar process line facilities. Experience with heavy industrial manufacturing facilities and associated infrastructure Preparation of Scope of Work and technical documentation The ability to read & understand Mechanical Drawing plans and details, Hydraulic & Pneumatic schematics and PID's.
