Therefore, the role offers regular shifts per week starting in the morning, the afternoon and/or the night, which may also include the additional offer of "short notice" unplanned leave (e.g. sick) relief shifts. We provide a caring and unique environment within the NSW Public Health Sector, aiming at the delivery of high quality patient-centered care. The successful applicant's duties will include: reception, interview and registration for all patients presenting to the ED for treatment; accurate patient data capture and entry into multiple clinical information and patient administration systems; admission, transfer and separation procedures for relevant patients; cash handling and invoice processing banking procedures; in-person and telephone enquiries from patients, visitors as well as the general public, various documentation filingetc. amongst many other administrative duties; support clinical teams within the acute area of the ED. The position is only open to Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens who hold a valid New Zealand passport, Australian permanent residents and those deemed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship to be eligible to work in Australia.
